Planter

I am pleased with how the planter came out using perennials. Although, there is a certain sameness about it because I am using things from my garden.... lambs ear, dragons blood sedum, hens & chicks. I suppose it is a different combination.

The real test will be to see if I can get it to last over the winter. Tips from anyone?

Well, I OBVIOUSLY know NOTHING about plants because I swear it sounded like you've planted a witches brew. Ear of lamb, blood of dragon, hens, chicks . . . I was waiting for eye of newt! What wonderful names plants have!

Tee Hee! Common names for plants can be pretty colorful. Too bad I didn't put in some Bleeding Heart & Cranesbill!

Well, I hope it gets showy enough to stop people in their tracks for the yard sale....some how I doubt it...way to understated and elegant (like how I slip a compliment in with all my nasty-ness?)

We here in the hinterlands of Bradford are all about understated and elegant.... It goes with our opera length gloves and tobacco chaw.

I may just dig a hole in my big compost pile and drop it in so it has some protection from the freezing weather but still exposing the plants to the elements so that they can respond to the ebb and flow of light, precipitation, etc.
