I saw similar sights in my area too as well as a whole lot of broken off trees on the way to work. Do you have power yet?
My sympathies are with you. We get ice storms here instead of snow, and I've been through lots of power outages - a few years ago, 90% of the town was down for about 4 days.
I hope you can stay warm. And stay safe.

I originally posted these images at work- thinking "any day now I'll have internet at home so I can write commentary to go with them." It didn't happen... but I guess the pictures speak for themselves.
Oh wow... I am still playing catch up after a few crazy weeks of work. And I hadn't seen these before... what terrible beauty.
